Professional Roof Repair

Fast response when you need it most.

A damaged roof doesn't wait for convenient timing. Whether it's an emergency leak during a storm or gradual wear that's finally caught up with you, we respond quickly to protect your home from further damage.

With 42 years of experience and HAAG-certified inspectors on staff, we accurately diagnose the problem and provide lasting repairs — not temporary patches. And if storm damage is involved, we'll help you navigate the insurance claim from inspection to final approval.

From missing shingles to active leaks, flashing failures to storm damage, we handle repairs of every size with the same care we put into a full roof replacement — because the small jobs are how you find out who you can trust with the big ones.

How We Diagnose

Where roofs actually leak.

The water stain on your ceiling is rarely under the leak. These are the six places roofs really fail — we find the true entry point before we quote, so the repair fixes the cause.

123456
Common roof leak points
Inspection · Six failure points
01

Damaged or missing shingles

Wind lifts and tears tabs; age makes them brittle and curled. Every gap is an open door for water — we replace and re-seal to match the existing field.

02

Failed flashing

The metal at chimneys, walls, and transitions is the single most common leak source. We re-flash with step and counter-flashing, not a bead of caulk.

03

Open valleys

Where two roof planes meet, water concentrates and moves fast. A worn or improperly closed valley leaks under heavy flow — we rebuild it to shed water clean.

04

Vent boots & penetrations

The rubber collars around plumbing vents crack and dry out in 10–15 years. We replace boots and re-seal every penetration through the roof.

05

Ice dams at the eave

Trapped attic heat melts snow that re-freezes at the cold eave, backing water up under the shingles. We address the leak and the ventilation behind it.

06

Ridge & ridge vent

A cracked ridge cap or poorly sealed ridge vent lets water in at the highest point. We reseal and, where needed, upgrade to a proper baffled vent.

Warning Signs

Signs your roof needs repair.

Catching problems early can save thousands in damage. These are the warning signs we look for during every inspection.

Active leaks

Water dripping inside, even occasionally, means your roof's weather seal has already failed somewhere. Don't wait for the next storm to find out where.

Curling or missing shingles

Shingles that curl, crack, or go missing leave your home open to water damage and worsening leaks — and the problem only spreads.

Water stains on ceilings

Brown spots on ceilings or walls usually mean the roof has been leaking for a while. The longer it goes, the more it costs to put right.

Storm or wind damage

After heavy weather, look for missing shingles, debris, or bent flashing. Get inspected before you file a claim — documentation matters.

Granules in the gutters

Piles of shingle granules in the gutters mean the surface is wearing through and losing the protection that keeps water out.

Damaged flashing

Around chimneys, skylights, and vents, failing flashing is one of the most common — and most fixable — sources of a roof leak.

Repair or Replace?

Honest math, either way.

We'll tell you straight which way the numbers point for your home — here's how we think about it.

Keep & Repair

Repair makes sense when…

  • The roof is under about 15 years old overall
  • Damage is localized to a section, a penetration, or one slope
  • Flashing, a vent boot, or a few shingles are the actual problem
  • The deck underneath is still sound and dry
  • A storm damaged one area — not a roof that was already failing
Time to Replace

Replacement makes sense when…

  • The roof is 20+ years old and leaking in more than one place
  • Granules are washing off across the whole surface
  • The deck is soft or sagging in multiple areas
  • You've repaired the same roof several times already
  • An insurance claim covers a full replacement after a storm
When replacement is the better call, we install a complete new system — see roof replacement.
Repair Services

Types of repairs we handle.

From a single flashing fix to full storm restoration — the same care on every job, big or small.

01

Leak Detection & Repair

We trace the leak to its actual entry point — often nowhere near the stain inside — and fix the cause, not just the drip you can see.
02

Shingle Replacement

Missing, cracked, and wind-lifted shingles replaced and color-matched to blend into the existing roof field as closely as the line allows.
03

Flashing Repair

Chimneys, walls, skylights, and valleys re-flashed with proper step and counter-flashing — the right fix, not a smear of roof cement.
04

Storm Damage Repair

Wind and hail damage restored and documented for your claim — see our emergency & storm services for after-hours response.
05

Emergency Tarping

Active leak in a storm? We can get a professional tarp on fast to stop the water, then schedule the permanent repair as soon as conditions allow.

Our Process

How a roof repair works.

Five steps from your first call to a roof that's watertight again — with insurance support built in when you need it.

01

Inspection

A HAAG-certified inspector gets on the roof, photographs every problem area, and checks the attic and deck for hidden damage.

02

Diagnosis & Estimate

We trace the leak to its real source and write a clear, itemized estimate — no vague lump sums, no guesswork.

03

Insurance Support

If a storm caused the damage, we document everything and meet your adjuster on-site to support the claim.

04

Repair

Most repairs finish in a single visit. We fix the cause and the symptom, and we match the existing roof as closely as possible.

05

Final Check

We water-test where it makes sense, clean up every nail and scrap, and confirm the repair before we leave.

Since 1984

“Anyone can smear roof cement on a stain and call it fixed. Finding where the water actually gets in — and fixing that — is the whole job.”

Family-run since 1984, with HAAG-certified inspectors and decades of storm-claim experience. We diagnose the cause, fix it to last, and tell you the truth about repair versus replace.

The Reasonable Difference

Why homeowners trust our repairs.

Certified diagnosis, insurance expertise, and a workmanship warranty — without the pressure to replace what's still got good years left.

HAAG-Certified Inspectors

Our inspectors hold the HAAG certification adjusters recognize — which means our damage assessments carry real weight on an insurance claim, and we find what a quick look misses.

Workmanship Warranty

Every repair is backed by our workmanship warranty. If a leak we fixed comes back because of our work, we come back and make it right at no charge.

Roof Repair FAQ

Roof repair FAQs.

Most roof repairs run $300–1,500 depending on the cause, access, and how much material is involved. Minor flashing or shingle work is at the low end; valley rebuilds or larger storm repairs cost more. We provide free written estimates with exact pricing before any work begins.
If the roof is under about 15 years old and the damage is localized, repair is almost always the right call. If it's 20+ years old, leaking in multiple spots, or losing granules everywhere, replacement is the better long-term math. Our inspection tells you which, honestly.
For active leaks we move quickly — often same or next day — and can get an emergency tarp on to stop the water until conditions allow a permanent fix. See our emergency services for storm response.
If the damage came from a covered event — wind, hail, a fallen limb — your homeowner's policy typically covers the repair minus your deductible. Our HAAG-certified inspectors document the damage and work with your adjuster to support the claim.
Flashing is the number-one culprit — chimneys, walls, and skylights — followed by cracked vent boots, worn valleys, and wind-damaged shingles. The water you see inside is often far from where it actually entered, which is why a proper diagnosis matters.
Yes. Every repair is backed by our workmanship warranty. If a leak we repaired returns because of our work, we come back and fix it at no charge — the same standard we hold on a full replacement.
